· This is our 8th tournament in last 10 years.

· We have been organizing chess tournaments and promoting game of chess since many years now.

· Last May 2008 , we had organized inter district level chess tournament

· Venue is an examination hall of Kasturba Medical College which can accommodate 200 chess payers easily – You will like it

· Every attempt is made to give you a best chess tournament

1. This tournament is open to players of Karnataka State only – If there is any

dispute related to state of origin, identity card must be produced.

2. FIDE rules in force shall apply

3. Tournament Consists 8 to 10 Rounds and 2 hour per game.

4. The orbiters decision shall be final and binding all participants

5. Players are requested to bring their own chess sets and clocks.

6. Date of birth certificate is a must for age category players (below -15 Yrs)

7. Organisers reserve the right of admission to the venue/Reject any entry without

assigning any reason.

8. Last date to confirm entries – 25th October 2008

9. Entry fee: Rs 300 Only . For students of Manipal University, and Lions Club members,

entry fees is Rs 150. (Proof of membership to be submitted).

The entry fees provides you with lunch on all 3 days, Morning & Evening Tea/Coffee with

snacks on all 3 days. Parents have to buy separate coupons for Lunch & Tea at the venue.

10. Reporting time between 8.30 to 10.00 A.M on 31st October, 2008

11. Inauguration at 10.00 to 11.00 a.m 31st October 2008.

12. First round starts after the inaugural function.

13 . Depending on our resource, many more special prizes will be given.

14. For accommodation please contact the hotel directly . If you have any problem, then only

we will arrange accommodation for you. Tariffs will Range from 200-2000 for Double

rooms . Details given below
